My goal as a psychotherapist is to help you increase your happiness and satisfaction with your self, your relationships and your life, while decreasing any symptoms you may be suffering. I am interested in your inner life and outer life. With these insights we can look for the conflicts and issues that are hurting you, and work toward their resolution. Equally important is knowing and enhancing your strengths and support systems which can be deployed to assist in your therapy and your life.  

By increasing awareness of long-standing patterns and personal perceptions, family experiences and current situations we can find ways to relieve the pain, address the causes, and increase the balance and joy in your life. I am an awareness based, solution focused, cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapist whether the issues are emotional, relational or circumstantial.  

I am interested in how you think and feel, how you experience your life, and the issues that are causing problems.  Our work together will include meaningful conversation, feedback, coaching, encouragement of self awareness, and ideas of things to work on between sessions.   

I have honed my skills through 25 years of training and experience, 22 of which have been in Malibu. I provide a safe and collaborative atmosphere in which to work.
